1. What is Pilgrimage? Pilgrimage is a 12-day sacred journey through Johannesburg, Malawi, and Lesotho. It blends ritual, rest, culture, and ancestral connection, guided by food, movement, and community.

2. When does it take place? May 27 – June 8, 2026.

  • 3 nights in Johannesburg (arrival + orientation)

  • 4 nights in Malawi (@kulengavillage)

  • 2 nights in Lesotho (@villagegirladventures)

  • 3 days travel / transition

3. What’s included?

  • Accommodations in each country (glamping, lodges, cultural sanctuaries)

  • Meals listed in the itinerary (local, Afro-Haitian-inspired, and communal dining)

  • Guided activities (hiking, meditation, ritual, movement, cultural immersions)

  • Ground transportation during the trip

  • Hosts and guides in each location

4. What’s not included?

  • International airfare to/from Johannesburg

  • Travel insurance (required)

  • Personal spending (shopping, unscheduled excursions, spa treatments, etc.)

  • Meals outside the official itinerary (You will be fed beyond measure!)

5. How much does it cost?

  • Full package price: $3,700 (valued at ~$6,000).

  • Payment plan: $925 deposit, then 3 installments of $925 over 9 months.

  • Space is limited — early booking is encouraged.

6. Who is this for? Pilgrimage is for persons who identify as women (exclusively), seekers, travelers, healers, and creatives who want to reconnect with ancestral wisdom, nature, and community. It welcomes all identities with care, safety, and inclusivity.

7. Do I need prior retreat experience? Not at all. Pilgrimage is designed for both first-time retreat goers and seasoned travelers. All you need is an open heart and willingness to journey.

8. How do I prepare?

  • Secure your passport (valid 6+ months after return).

  • Book your flights to arrive in Johannesburg by May 27, 2026.

  • Consider travel insurance.

  • We’ll send a preparation guide with packing lists, visa info, and cultural notes closer to the trip.

9. How many people will attend? We’re curating a small, intimate group to preserve the sacred, communal nature of the journey. Spaces are limited to ensure deep connection.

10. How do I register? Visit sacredbodyjourney.com to reserve your spot with a deposit. Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation and ongoing updates leading to departure.

Luxury Holydays Raffle — FAQ

1. What is the Luxury Holydays Raffle? It’s your chance to win a 6-day, 5-night all-inclusive stay at Lang De Moun Mon (LDMM), Johannesburg’s sanctuary of art, food, and ancestral wellness.

2. How much are raffle tickets and how many can I buy?
Tickets are $20 (1), $50 (3), or $80 (5). You can purchase as many as you like. Every ticket is another chance to win.

3. When will winners be announced? Three separate drawings will be held in September, October, and November. Each drawing selects one winner. Winners are notified by email and announced online.

4. Is travel included in the prize? No. The raffle covers your accommodations, curated meals, and access to LDMM’s cultural and wellness experiences. Airfare and ground transport are the responsibility of the winner.

5. What if I don’t win? There are no losers here. Every ticket purchase supports LDMM’s cultural and healing work — and as a thank you, you’ll receive a 20% discount on accommodations, venue hire, and dining experiences at LDMM.

  • The discount is transferable, meaning if you’re not traveling to Johannesburg, you can gift it to a friend, family member, or colleague.

  • It’s valid for 12 months from your raffle purchase date.

  • Applies to direct bookings only (not through third-party platforms).

  • Subject to availability at the time of booking.
